Just keep placing leaves and branches over the top of each other (once dried which does take very long to dry when working with acrylics). Hint: Working on more than one piece also allows for me to keep going in my painting flow so I’m not stopping and waiting for paint to dry either.  Also keep working with a similar colour palette but just using some darker vs lighter tones also helps with depth. . . PS. Cause you are alll asking….
