i remember where i was when this song came out—when the whole album came out—with ray. we listened to the whole album; we both distinctly liked this song. it feels like winter. late fall, cold breezes and empty promises. mistakes and change and orange and brown. it stuck with me different than a lot of the other songs on this album. i guess this is an entry about being nostalgic and less about ghost in the machine by sza.
