Today's vintage children's book is The Book of Giant Stories written by David L. Harrison. The illustrations by Philippe Fix are well crafted and befitting the subject matter. For some reason, the young boy in the book is dressed in more modern clothes than the other characters, who are true to the period. Philippe Fix was born in 1937 in Grendelbruch, Alsace, France.
