A running hare

This week, here in the Uk, contains the infamous 'blue Monday' , the day of the year when we are meant to feel the most down. Light levels are low , it's a Monday, Christmas is over and Spring feels a long way off....ok, ok, I know if you weren't feeling low before you read this, you are now. That said for many of us t

Printed on high quality stock. I painted this in January 2023 just before my 11th birthday. I used watercolour, pastels and ink pens. I chose to draw a hare because you don't see them very often and they seem shy. I think they are beautiful and especially like their ears and different colours and textures in their fur. This is an original drawing - a study of a brown hare, drawn in charcoal on white multi-media paper. I'm an animal artist, working mainly in pencil, charcoal and watercolour and have a particular passion for British wildlife - especially hares! All the drawings I list are original artworks - I don't take prints. The full size of this drawing is A4. I use standard sizes to make it easier for the buyer to frame. Standard A4 frames are readily available, though I always recommend framing with a mount - so the glass isn't touching the drawing. All pictures are signed on the image, and signed and dated on the back and they are sent securely packed using layers of sturdy board and biodegradable postal bags. I also take commissions, and would be happy to hear from anyone wanting a pet, or any Charcoal Drawings, Hare Sketch, Charcoal Drawing Animals, Hare Drawing, Hare Watercolour, Knitted Doll Patterns, Charcoal Art, British Wildlife, Charcoal Drawing
