When creating this riding arena, we considered air flow, lighting, materials, the safety of horse and rider, and ease of access to the facility. With arched open-air windows on one side, and large fans overhead, air flow is never a problem. In fact, “garage doors” can be opened on the opposite length of the arena to make it a pavilion setting for maximum breeze. Large windows and skylights bring in plenty of light, while hand-bent wood bumpers keep horses safely away from the outside walls.

Including a large island in your horse barn's tack room is a great way to create additional storage space. Baskets, bins, and hooks in easy-to-reach places within the tack island are essential to keeping your mess under control.
