If you've been following along then you probably noticed that Jamie and I purchased a house to flip a while back. Well, it needed a lot of help and while it was an okay size house, it did lack some extra entertaining area that we thought would be nice. After a little brainstorming we decided that an easy way to do that was to replace the windows in the dining room with a door wall that would lead onto a deck. In this post I detail the steps I took to build this deck. Come follow along.
You need a house by the water any time, but most of all, you really really need one in the summer. With a deck or a dock to sit on and enjoy some wine or cocktails with your friends while the sun goes down. It's all a part of the life well-lived.
Not every DIY hot tub or plunge pool has to be in-ground as seen in this example. Above ground or partially above ground works equally as well with many back yards. Visit: www.custombuiltspas.com to see how you can build one of your own. (kudos to this owner for a great job! not our customer)
