When I was getting inspired to create my concept board for our sons nursery I kept coming across photos that were really whimsical. That was a vibe I wanted to give to the room. With the cloud wallpaper I intend to hang on the ceiling I knew I had to get some clouds! Now I looked all over the place for a DIY and where to purchase clouds. Nothing really struck me. He asked me how the clouds know when it’s time to rain, since sometimes he sees clouds in the sky on a sunny or dry day. I talked about the way that water droplets in a cloud condense into each other and eventually become too heavy for the cloud to hold, so the cloud releases rain. But who wants just an abstract explanation when you can have a concrete experience?! We used this simple science experiment to symbolise each of those steps.
