Up to 24 colors may be used in a single carpet. The material mix of the finest Chinese silk, Tibetan highland wool, and nettle fibers gives the carpets exceptional depth and expressive power. Like almost all collections, the Artwork…

Bidjar – Collection Overview | JAN KATH Copper And Pink, Basic Pattern, Classical Elements, Soccer Match, Contemporary Minimalist, Be Cool, New Perspective, Minimalist Design, Modern Design

The original basic pattern that inspired this collection comes from north-west Persia. Jan Kath has reinterpreted the floral design of the classic Bidjar: During a soccer match, he traced the path of the ball on the screen with a digital pen. He then took the confusion of lines resulting from the passes and shots on goal and combined them with the Bidjar pattern.
