Paint a 1 minute dragonfly using dots with these interesting watercolors😁  I am thrilled to try a set of 15 “layered” watercolors gifted to me by @supervisionart . I was very pleasantly surprised by these watercolors… ‘Layered’ means each paint tube separates into more than one color.  So when I first painted the blue, I only saw one color, but soon after the paint began to separate I also see purple and teal as well. When  the paint fully dries there are even more unexpected colors and textures.  The same thing happened when I used another tube to paint. It isn’t lost on me that our Fodder School 3 lesson exercises this month with @jenniferwilkinpenick and the techniques used in these mini watercolor pattern paintings are kinda related. I’m super happy making patterns. I have been a pattern passionate person since I sat starting at the pink and green wallpaper and Laura Ashley sheets in my childhood bedroom.   I had forgotten all about this ring of watercolor paintings and doodles! It has obviously totally influenced not only the look of some of the painting I do today but also my big WHY.
