I love to make pictures of robots. It's a way to explore emotions that are difficult to articulate in other ways. I'm especially interested in the feelings we don't have names for.

My name is Matt Dixon. For over ten years I've been making digital artworks of robots. Exploring the world they inhabit and collecting the works of art into the 'Transmissions' books.

Where do they come from? Why are they here? What are they looking for?

My name is Matt Dixon. I’m an illustrator working in the games industry. I also like to paint pictures of robots, a series of images I call ‘Transmissions’. Do you remember my previous post on Bored Panda?

I’m so glad I’ll see my younger son in a couple of days. What a boon that he’ll be with me this summer. Grateful. God is good. *Almost* went over to see older son today. So close. SO close. Missing him very much. Hovering on that line between “I am a very strong independent thoroughly capable fully functioning single woman” and “Hug meeeeeeeeeeee” lately. 😂 I’m gonna hug my college son so much he won’t know what hit him. #plans
