Famous for never losing a battle, his greatest victories were in the Usurpation of Gaumata, Elam Uprising, Babylonian Uprising, Bactrian Uprising, Median Uprising, Parthian Uprising, Assyrian Uprising, Egyptian Uprising, Thrace Campaign, Macedonian Subjugation, Invasion of the Valley Going and in the Cita Campaign. Darius died in 486 BC at the age of 64, shortly after his General was defeated by the Greeks in Marathon.
