Illustrations from one of my favorite books growing up The Rainbow Goblins (1977) by Ul Del Rico. I was drawn in by the beautiful vivid illustrations. Did anyone else love this book? Interesting movie trivia, the author/illustrator also worked on The NeverEnding Story.

This strange little children's storybook was my first introduction to art. It showed the possibility that paint could create entire worlds, rich with feeling and depth.
