Beautiful riparium! Riparium: ripa- = riverbank & -arium means "that which contains, or place of". A riparium (in an aquarium tank, etc) is a setup that recreates a riverside environment, or riparian zone, where land & water meet. The main focus tends to be more on the water side of things rather than the land side. Various aquatic plants are submerged and/or emersed in a riparium but most grow emersed plants. A "paludarium" recreates a swamp or marshy environment.
