Rosary collection

The oldest piece is from approximately 1550 (gold tone medallion far left). The newest pieces are rosaries from about the 1850s (far right). The oldest rosaries have enamel crosses surrounded by filigree. German/Austrian. (personal collection)

I thought this was interesting and beautiful this statue of The Madonna was covered in rosaries,placed by random people passing by. (she was located outside a gas station) totally random but the rosaries caught my attention and as my dad and sara were peeing during our pit stop I got out of the car and took some pics. loved her
