First run done since a very frustrating calf strain that has caused me to pull up on 3 runs over the preevious 6-8 weeks! Happy to be back running - it really felt good. Even if it was at a nice slow pace to restrengthen my calf muscles! #running #runninglifestyle #runningmotivation #fitness #fitnessjourney #fitnessmotivation #exercise #exercisemotivation #injury #injuryrecovery #health #healthjourney #healthandfitness #fealth

Overstriding? 💪 This means landing with your feet under your hips and not in front of your body. You can practice this with standing still, leaning forward untill you start "falling forwards" and maintaining that angle. Once you are running, try to run the same pace as usual but increase the steps per minute a bit for a short ground contact time. BONUS: it's more efficient and injuries are less likely 🤝 📹 @fabi_horni_tri
