As a linguist, I gotta say, dictionaries are hella interesting, not just because of the obscure etymologies or weird words you can find in them, but because of the rare and unheard of meanings that ordinary everyday words can have.

Dictionaries are usually good at explaining things, but when it comes to language that we can all relate to, they sometimes leave us high and dry. This Instagram account is here to be honest with us about what our favourite words really mean.

Never used to say the word....post a lot of horrific stuff....well....had a communications instructor once said I appreciate every word in the English language and use them all.
