The opening of your pocket is your choice.

What ever you decide , for the pocket bags make sure to go 1.5 cm more on each side so your seam allowance won’t come through the pocket.

My first seam I sewed was 1.5 cm and then you can get to open and press the seam. The pocket bags are sewn ( with 1 cm seam allowance) to the right side ( inside seam ), towards the wrong side of your fabric ( Lay them down on the wrong side ).

Why 1 cm you ask? 🤔
Because I didn’t really want to see it on the other side of the fabric so It would be 0.5cm covered by the original one🪡😀.
