Star of david

Star of David, Jewish symbol composed of two overlaid equilateral triangles that form a six-pointed star. It appears on synagogues, Jewish tombstones, and the flag of the State of Israel. The symbol originated in antiquity, when, side by side with the five-pointed star, it served as a magical sign or as a decoration.

The Star of David is said to represent the shape of King David's shield, used when the King fought a war. People win by the will and protection of G-d.

While some of these symbols are closely associated with certain cultures or faiths, others are universal and can be used by anyone to strengthen his or her spirituality.

Okay, so maybe it’s not a plant for everyone, but here in the South, there’s nothing like it. What pray tell am I referring to? Okra – specifically, the heirloom variety known as the Star of David.
