The outsiders house

The house has been painstakingly restored to reflect its appearance in "The Outsiders" movie and contains one-of-a-kind exhibits, collections and memorabilia!

A hip-hop artist from California bought a house in Tulsa this week, but he doesn't plan to live there. Instead, he wants to make it a museum dedicated to The Outsiders.

The Outsiders House Museum welcomed two special visitors on Thursday. Matt Dillon, who played Dallas "Dally" Winston in "The Outsiders" movie, and S. E. Hinton, the author of the book the movie is based on, both visited the museum just ahead of the 39th anniversary of the movie's release date, which was Friday. So someone bought the Curtis house since I took the last pictures... luckily it appears they care about it, as they trimmed up the yard quite nicely and seem to be doing work on the interiors (there was a huge dumpster on the side of the house). I just hope they don't do anything drastic to change its appearances! So does anyone else see the ghostly images in the window... ? Seriously though, its amazing that it is so unchanged! The door is even the same!
