Though a little slow in the beginning, "Wall-E" is a film that delivers the goods with strong character development. Over time you really begin to care about this battered little robot stubbornly doing his job even though he is last of his kind. The eventual payoff is an ending that still has the ability to bring a tear or two to your eye. The films creators even had time to throw in an allegory or two about pollution and laziness.
