If your hands, wrists, and forearms are weak, more stress is placed on those joints, which can cause pain and injury.

These are a few of the wrist strengthening exercises I like to start with. Try doing 2-3 sets of 10 of each of them. Start with a light weight and gradually progress as you get stronger.
