"Wales" and "Welsh" come from the Anglo-Saxon word, 'Walha', meaning 'foreigner' or 'stranger'. Whereas, The modern "Welsh" name for the Welsh People is "Cymry", which comes from the old "Welsh" word "Combrogi", meaning fellow Countryman.

Prince George, the son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, has been given an honorary Wales rugby jersey from captain Sam Warburton. Warburton presented the jersey -- lucky number 7 -- to George's proud father, the Duke of Cambridge, in the locker room at the Wales vs. South Africa Rugby Union Autumn International on Nov. 9, 2013. William has been the vice royal patron of the Welsh Rugby Union since February 2007.
