Regimental dirk of The 90th Highland Borderers Light Infantry With broad tapering blade notched along back and double-edged at point, etched along one side with scrolling foliage, crowned 'VR' cypher and thistles, and along the other with owner's monogram within acorn scrollwork, crowned regimental badge and title, and thistles, and maker's name Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London. Ebonised baluster grip carved with basketweave set with silver studs. Very rare dirk. 29 cm. blade
