Backyard Fire Pit Cover/Table/GameBoard!
I love our fire pit. We made it a focal point when we designed out outdoor space, but when we aren't using it I really dislike the gaping charred hole that takes center stage. Fire Pit Deck
We are putting the finishing touches on this paver deck. We made the chairs out of pallets. The fire pit table top was also made from pallets. We love the idea of being able to convert the fire pit into a table when it is not in use. The bench seating was made from left over materials that we used to make a retaining wall in the front of our house. I am looking forward to adding the finishing touches and being able to enjoy conversation around a cozy fire during cooler weather.

DIY Fire Pit Table Top - The Lilypad Cottage...you can also just take the base off of a round dining room table or take one side off of the large cable spools if you want to make one of these very easily. Cheap second-hand round tables & cable spools can be found cheaply on craigslist/thrift stores.
