By Mike Cox A bronze statue of Republic of Texas-era Ranger George B. Erath stands in front of the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum in Waco. Beside it, sealed in a stone-covered concrete vault, is a 36 by 24-inch steel time capsule containing the musings and memorabilia of various active and retired 20th-century Rangers.
