Image detail for -water bottle drip system just letting you know i have a patent pending ... per the website: Orange Conduit is not UV Stabilised....you should use UHT (Black) conduit. The PVC pipe you see in photo is UV protected and is not conduit pipe. You can not buy this pipe in Australia. It has a 42mm diameter and a wall thickness of 7mm. It was imported from Germany 18 years ago for another purpose, but for outside.
sing your pocket knife, make 2 small slits in the bottom of your bottle. Make two more small slits half way up your bottle. Then fill your dripper bottle with water to test it. Does it drip slowly? Or empty too quickly? Dig a hole next to your tomato plant. Place the bottle right-way-up in the hole. Fill the bottle with water from the hose. Add liquid fertilizer from time to time.
Easy garden watering
Easy garden watering The whole system only took about 30 minutes to install. I had never dealt with any plumbing at all before and it was extremely easy. The snap nozzle at the end of the hose is great and quick if I need to use the other end of the hose for something else. It's great! You can get the Snip-n-Drip Soaker System from amazon.

Easy Way to Keep Container Gardens from Drying Out. This should work great especially for those of us in the desert southwest. The only pots that can survive have drip systems run to them, but that isn't always convienent. I love this idea and I am going to try it.
