Although there has been a settlement at Cromer for the best part of a thousand years, it only became a resort in Victorian times with the arrival of the railways. The town is centred around the 14th century church of SS Peter and Paul. This was substantially rebuilt in the 19th century after it fell into disrepair. Blakeney is a beautiful village on the Norfolk coast. It became a fishing port after it was founded in 1240 but today relies on us tourists. Blakeney Point is where you'll find Blakeney National Nature Reserve (National Trust) & it is home to a variety of birds & plants.
