Thanks Uncle Tony! This pair of handmade rocking chairs hail from 1972 as the bottom of one chair reveals. These area easily found but this set has some extra nice details. Pretty tapestry fabric and beading on the white chair. You will receive BOTH chairs. Each are about 4 1/2" high.

This amazing little rocking chair was crafted from an old tin soup can! The metal has been bent and cut into curly cues and twists. The can lid with upholstered in red velvet and seems very comfortable (and it rocks quite nicely). I can't say when this chair was made, but it looks to be rather old. It measures about 5.25" tall and would make a wonderful and whimsical addition to any doll house! Crystal

Tin Can Doll Furniture Book #1

I love tin can folk art. It's amazing how a creative person can transform something as ordinary as a can into something wonderful. The rocking chaire is about 6 inches tall and the little foot stool is about 1 1/2 inches tall. The metal was painted black and a little of it has chipped off here and there. The cushions are rose colored velveteen. The overall condition is very good and they are a very cute set. US shipping is free.
