The Avoncliff Pub is a 17th century Alehouse located with the Avon River on its frontage and the canal at its rear. It has cute accommodation, a great beer garden, reasonable food and the only sound you hear at night is the water washing over the weir. And it is just 3 minutes walk from the station.

The Barge Inn at Seend is right on the Canal half way between Bradford on Avon and the Devizes lochs and serves great pub lunches. Tip: book a table if you are going at the weekend.

The famous lochs of Caen Hill (Devizes) . There are 29 locks which rise 237 feet over 2 miles. Quite a sight - particularly when canal boats are going through the system.
