Agreed. Real friends don't only want to be "friends" when it's convinient for them. If you realize that someone isn't putting forth any effort into a friendship, and you find yourself going out fo your way to try to keep the friendship alive, just let it go. if it isn't worth it to them, shouldn't be worth it to you.
