This is a very famous waterfall in Yellowstone National Park. I was there smack dab in the middle of the day, which is just about the worst time to take photos. So be it, Jedi. This photo was taken among the coastal redwoods in northern California. I love how this trail splits; my wife called it the Alice in Wonderland trail. The large clovers are a nice aspect.

Another from that balmy calm winter day. I really wanted to keep shooting this till the sun went in the water (7 minutes later) but there were about 5 other folks who wanted my spot so I gave in. No special effects here - just F20 making that star out of the sun I think. BTW, got caught by a "sneaker wave" a couple of minutes before. Should have learned this by now. I'm thinking boots or bare feet on my next beach outing duh.
