Port Merion, Wales. This is where they filmed the original series of The Prisoner. It's a lovely little village full of colourful buildings.

Cotswold Country Park and Beach. This is a series of freshwater, manmade lakes and beaches in the middle of the Cotswolds. We had a lovely day there. The kids swam and had a go at Zorbing. The walk round the lake was lovely too.

Hereford Town Centre. This is The Old House, High Town which is now a museum. Hereford sits on the river Wye and is home to a beautiful cathedral.

Longleat Safari Park in Wiltshire, was opened in 1966 and was the first drive-through safari park outside Africa. Though I would much rather see these animals in their natural habitat, this is the closest I'm going to get for now.

The Poppy Field at Bewdley. I adore this place. The field is filled as far as the eye can see with red poppies. This picture does not do the scene justice. Stunning place.

Stokesay Castle. This is the oddest castle I've seen. There is a round tower on one and and a house jutting out of the upper floor at the other end with the middle looking like a church with it's arched windows.

Kinver Edge rock houses. An interesting place where houses have been built into the rockface. There is a great walking area at the top that is home to free roaming cows and a fantastic view.
