This project involved a two storey extension to the side and a single storey extension to the rear of an existing 1930′s house to create a family home suitable for today’s living standards. The single storey extension to the rear houses a new open plan kitchen, living and dining area with a large internal sliding door which closes off the living area. Light wells overhead provide natural light deep into the existing house plan. Sliding aluminium framed doors lead to the garden.
