Joseph Henry Lynch (1911 – 1989) was a totally obscure British artist, better known under his signature J.H. Lynch. His mass reproduced prints of sultry women sold in the millions and adorned innumerable bedrooms and living rooms from the fifties onwards, vastly outselling Michelangelo's Mona Lisa reproductions! At the end of his life Lynch reputedly destroyed most his paintings or gave them away to charity. As far as known no original paintings are in existence. A few Lynch paintings are…
