{Koala Eco Tip - Free Yourself from Clutter} Now’s the time to audit your cupboards and shelves and donate or discard everything you no longer need. Freeing your home from clutter isn’t just about creating physical space; it’s also about freeing up your mind and creating proper room to think. Use our Multi-Purpose Spray to wipe the dust from empty shelves and drawers before returning—and treasure—the things you want to keep. #koalaeco
When you find a moment, consider paying attention to the often overlooked spots. These are places that generally aren’t part of a day-to-day cleaning routine. Our glass cleaner will soon sparkle up your windows, and you can rely on our floor cleaner to buff your floors. And those hard-to-reach dusty corners, a damp cloth with our floor cleaner and a bit of water. You fill in the rest. We have products to suit any area. Most importantly, don’t forget to set aside an hour to be in nature. 🍃 #koalaeco #morenaturefeelbetter
At Koala Eco, we believe cleaning should be far from an arduous, off-putting task. Instead, we see it as a ritual that’s just as much about the process as the result, especially when you use products that have mood-boosting properties as effective as their cleaning ability. #koalaeco #essentialoils #lemonmyrtle #mandarin

Followers of the 19th century Transcendentalist movement—like Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau—were convinced that immersion in nature was essential for our spiritual well-being. While we can’t all follow their example—Thoreau embarked on a two-year experiment in simple living in the wilds of Massachusetts—we can bring something of their philosophy into our daily lives. ❤️ #koalaeco #bees #bee #illustration

While it’s autumn in Australia, our North American team is enjoying spring. According to some sources, the tradition of spring cleaning comes from the Persian New Year, which falls on the first day of spring, and householders in Iran still practise khan tetani ‘shaking the house’ in preparation for this day. Other sources suggest that it’s linked to the Jewish tradition of cleansing the house of every crumb of leavened foodstuffs ahead of the Passover festival, a ritual symbolic of the Israelites’ flight from Egypt, as recorded in the Old Testament.

In North America when the long grey months of winter are over, and the first green shoots start pushing up through the soil, the arrival of spring feels like a miracle we can never quite get used to. Days start getting longer, the air lighter and cleaner, and there’s a sense of things coming back to life. No wonder we want to throw open windows and give our homes a thorough clean. It’s almost as if we’re sweeping the winter darkness, literally and metaphorically, from our lives and, just like nature, embracing revival and renewal. #koalaeco
