The 1970s was truly the Golden Age of the Novelty Record, but only the Wombles, Goodies and Smurfs went beyond having one off hit records!!

Sooty and Sweep....I was given a Sooty glove puppet (he came with his own magic wand) by my Anutie and Uncle. We already had a Sweep who had a squeaky attached to him to represent his voice.
