Story map (in this case The 3 Bears): on a long piece of paper draw a path down the middle; write "once upon a time" at one end and "the end" at the other; draw simple pictures along the path for the kids to color and to aid in retelling the story; more can be added by the kids. In this case, draw the 3 bears, the woods, Goldilocks, 3 bowls, 3 chairs, 3 beds, and the woods again.

Great way to practice fine motor skills (using tongs or tweazers) and visual discrimination skills (in sorting). Love this activity!

Who broke the chair? The 3 bears crime scene. Children enjoyed using cameras, phones and magnifying glasses to find clues around the Nursery.
