Back to School {the new and old}

This website has many ideas for literacy centers for young learners. They include letter recognition, tracing and creating letters, and phonemic awareness. Great enrichment activities to use with students that could then be applied to the things they are working on in language arts.

Preschool Letter H

Draw a letter on a pin board and have children push the pins in correct order to form the letters. (Could write numbers and even draw arrows to show letter formation sequence.) Great for fine motor skill development, but also for remembering the path of motion for each letter.
