Where do seeds come from investigation.... This started out as a tray with a whole butternut squash, tomatoes, peppers, cucumber, melon and pomegranate.... The children then cut each thing open to discover and collect the seeds from inside them....(the seeds have now been put to dry so they can be planted) once the seed investigation was complete the children had great fun just cutting!!

We have been waiting for cold temps to do a freezing project like we did last year. Well last night was our lucky night we had temps in the teens. So we gathered some fruit from the kitchen and cut it up. "J" started putting it in the aluminum pan and said, "Mom we can make a rainbow". So that is what we did.
