This is a poster I created for a none existing company. I stared by designing the coffee cup with the rectangle tool and adjusting the rectangles with the Direct section tool. I then created the steam from the coffee using the pen tool this was to illustrate the warmth and colour of the coffee. I created two coffee beans using the pen tool giving more relation to coffee. I created a slogan at the bottom of the poster which was to make the customers feel more welcome.

This is a menu for a local coffee shop called the The RoundAbout cafe that I designed in Ai. The theme of the design was 1925 and to commemorate 90 years of swaythling housing. I started creating the typography using the pen tool I was was looking for an vintage, elegant style to give a 1920's fill. The use of the light pink background was to show the colors of the round about cafe also it gave a nice contrast with the back.

The theme of this design was stairways. I started first by hand drawing out the typography 'Level' and then scanning it in to edit on Ps. I placed a rectangle over the type and reduced the opacity so I could trace over with the brush tool leaving me with a copy of the type in white creating two layers. I then placed thick lines within the design to illustrate the levels of a staircase. I reduced the opacity of the thick lines as it didn't want to make them the focal point of the design.

This is the final outcome of my first T-Shirt design. I chose a white background as this made the design of the wave project from the surface more. I stared placing the typography onto the wave into the center, leaving room for the arrow surfboard to link to the end of the 'Home' to illustrate if you don't go in big then go home with your surf board. The use of white for the type and the surfboard arrow is so they appeared to brake through the wave from the white background.

Here I have experimented with layering in Ps. The theme of this design was claustrophobia and is the reason why I have included buildings and lines on top of each other. Within the design included a staircase which was to illustrate an exit from the buildings as within building there are stairs. The use of dark orange to light blue was to illustrate a contrast between the mixed emotions of being trapped with buildings.

This is a commemorative stamp design for the royal mail that I created in Ps. The design was to show appreciation of British architecture. I traced over the original photo of Big Ben filling it with blocks of colour. This helped establish the depth and structure of the building. I wanted to keep originality in the design so i included the queens head. I used helvetica neue thin for the 1st as I found it to be elegant and tale such as Big Ben.

Here is my third T-Shirt Design. The theme of this T-Shirt was 'blow your mind'. I have incorporated a brain illustrating the mind and the top of a hand grenade to illustrate the theme of blowing your mind. For the font I used 'Crushed' worked efficiently with the design being bold and explosive. My reasons for placing the 'Blow Your' at the top of the grenade is this is the first area were the grenade is detonated. And then is the reason why I placed the 'Mind' being blown out of the brain.

Here is my second T-Shirt design. My theme for this design was living life on the edge. I started the design by developing a basic house using the rectangle tool. I then drew out a shape of a cliff using the pen tool. I placed the house on top of the word edge to illustrate the point of living on the edge. I adjusted the size of each letter accordingly to show the house on a tilt falling closer to the edge. The green background was to give the theme of life and make the typography more…

Here is the development of my first T-shirt design for Rapanui. I started developing a shape of a wave using the pen tool and then adjusted the shape of the wave using the direct section tall. I wanted the wave to be tool to fit the message and to have no detail to break it from being to complex from the rest of the illustrations. I then developed a curved arrow using the brush tool to illustrate the point of returning home. I then changed the arrow head into a surf board to relate it to…
