Deck the Halls by bubblestx4 - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
I stamped the pine bough in Old olive on Eggshell cardstock (twice) then used a soft suede marker to darken the twiggy part. Adhered onto my card base and cut the other to a 2 1/2" x 4" piece, framed with eggshell and mounted with foam tape to make a telescoping image. The pinecones were inked with soft suede, fussy cut and dabbed with stickles for some shimmer & shine. 2 were mounted flush to the card & one with foam tape. I tied it all together with gold cord (no matter what lighting I…
Happy New Year!
Welcome back, and Happy New Year! I hope that you had a lovely Christmas and a chance to switch off from the hurly-burly of day to day life. We had a wonderful time here; a great, celebratory Christmastime, and then a lovely slow blur of days which blended into each other as we nested at […]
Handmade Christmas Card using Anna Griffin Products | Etsy
This beautiful card measures 4 1/2" x 6 1/4" and was made using PTI & Anna Griffin card stocks, three dimensional, die-cut stickers & ribbon. The red layer is an embossed, velvet layer, so pretty! The holly is adorned with dazzling details glitter. The front phrase is a gold embossed metallic panel. TLC346~First Beautiful Season by darleenstamps - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
I knew I wanted this set the moment I saw it in the catty... and I pretty much cased it here, but with a few little tweaks. This was the perfect opportunity to play with this set for the first time and combine it with Joan's stacked background challenge. I used three of my long-neglected, very dusty background stamps.

A Simply Sketched Christmas
What with 18th birthdays and Stampin' Up conventions I've been a bit distracted lately but I woke up yesterday morning with a sudden realisation that it'll be Christmas very soon! I do have quite a pile of Christmas cards but not nearly enough... and anyway, the 'Make a Christmas card featuring a bird' challenge at Less is More was calling to me and I needed a card for Sarn's Rudolph Day challenge too. Here's what I've come up with: There are loads of gorgeous birds in the Stampin' Up…
Caravans & christmas designs...
Hello! I hope everyone has been enjoying the summer - here is another summery caravan design of mine which I've just finished... I have to say I am very much looking forward to some cosy autumn days soon & in that vein I have already been busy designing some new designs for christmas this year... hope you like them! x
Mary Fedden is one of my favourite contemporary artists and I felt that I wanted to do some pictures which were inspired by her lovely paintings. I always love her stripey curtains so I had i to include them - Alie says the pictures make her think of Aldeburugh which makes me glad. Her work will be greatly missed! ...Another ice cream cart. ...A lavender picture. ...Preparing for christmas.
Divine Diva Inspiration Challenge #18
Here's our second holiday-inspired challenge for the month. This time around we're going to be inspired by these beautiful soaps by Mistral. (They were available at Anthropologie when I first saw them but they are sold out now - I guess everyone else loved them, too!) I just couldn't choose between the green and the red, so I'm showing you both. Feel free to use one or both colors in whatever way inspires you! I decided to go with the green for my clean and simple Christmas card. This was…
