The Giant Cove Tree is a unique species of Flora. The only specimen known to exist can be found within the Tree Cove of the Lost River. All of the brine around the tree is blue in color, rather than the green brine found elsewhere in the Lost River; whether or not the Giant Cove Tree is the cause for this alteration in color is unknown. The Marblemelon Plant is a terrestrial life form belonging to the flora category. By using a Survival Knife, the player can harvest Marblemelon Seeds from Marblemelons. Marblemelons can be eaten for water and nutrition, and is an effective food source when farmed. Once planted from seed, the Marblemelon will take 800s (13m:20s) to mature. They can be found planted in abandoned Growbeds and other planters in and around the three component parts of the Degasi Seabase on the Floating Island.

Bulbo Trees are a terrestrial flora species found on the Floating Island and Mountain Island. The player can harvest Bulbo Tree Samples from them using a Survival Knife. Bulbo Tree Samples are edible, and a viable source of both Food& Water. After nine slashes with the Survival Knife, the tree will disappear, giving two samples from the final blow. Bulbo Trees are short trees with holes in their thick, rounded trunk. A viscous fluid leaks from these holes.
Cave Bushes are a flora species found populating the Jellyshroom Caves, Mountains Caves, and the Sea Treader's Path. It is purely decorative. By using a knife, the player can harvest Cave Bush Seeds. Cave Bushes are a moderate-sized plant, featuring a tall, dark purple stalk with many small branches and leaves growing from it.
The Hoverfish is a small, passive, herbivorous fauna species. It resides mainly in the Kelp Forest, where it slowly swims around the Creepvines or hovers above patches of seagrass. The Hoverfish has a teardrop-shaped body with six legs, three on each side. On its head are two black eyes, two small nostrils and a broad mouth, resembling the face of a frog. The legs each have a small, circular pad surrounded by a thin, transparent membrane along the edges.
