Brontë Waterfall, Yorkshire It's certainly not Britain's most spectacular, but this small waterfall near Haworth makes our list for its beautiful location and its association with the Brontë sisters. The Brontë Way - a 43-mile route - can be joined in Haworth. It takes walkers past the falls and on to Top Withens, the ruined farmhouse said to have been the inspiration for Wuthering Heights.
