1915-Callot-Soeurs Chemise - Met Museum. Oddly enough, the popular drive in Paris in 1914 was to be nostalgic, and most of the big fashion houses – Poiret included, introduced period style fashions, replete with bustles, hoops and garters. However one notable exception in 1915 was from Callot Soeurs, whose models showed a brand new silhouette , a straight un-girdled chemise hung over a straight foundation
