Lux executes her compositions using a combination of photography, painting and digital manipulation. Her work usually features young children. She originally trained as a painter at Munich Academy of Art, and is influenced by painters such as Agnolo Bronzino, Diego Velázquez, Phillip Otto Runge. Her work likes to show a child in a lost paradise. She alters the children's heads on photoshop to make it bigger to look like a doll. She also photshops out the shadow in the photo.
