Saw this in a book shop and, as an avid ukulele player, had to buy it! Was a really nice read; a tour of England & Scotland, meeting some interesting characters, combined with dry humour from the author. Recommended read.

Stumbled across this book after watching the excellent HBO mini-series Generation Kill (for the second time!). A really good read - much better than many of the other war books I've read recently.

The Operators: On The Street with Britain's Most Secret Service [Kindle Edition] James Rennie

A magical tale, absolutely spellbinding and captivating.

One of my favourite Murakami novels (although there are so many to choose from.)- me and my sister read this over each others shoulders. We need to do the road trip in the book together.

The second book I've read by Simon Kernick in 2012 (the first was The Siege) and this was another enjoyable read. He did a good job of bringing together two existing characters in the same story.

The Payback: (Dennis Milne

Another good read from David Baldacci

The Innocent (Will Robie, book by David Baldacci - book cover, description, publication history.

I started running three weeks ago in preparation for a 10k race in July, so picked up this book on a whim last weekend. It's a pretty good read but I was a little disappointed to finished reading it and NOT be inspired to take on the challenge of a marathon one day. Expected it to leave me pumped up for running, actually demotivated me a little, which was odd. Guess we all have different motivations for running etc.

Keep on Running: The Highs and Lows of a Marathon Addict by Phil Hewitt [book] -- just started reading this. Personally, not quite as relatable as Running Like a Girl by Alexandra Heminsley.

A great read, Connelly nicely blended together two investigations and added a nice mix of police politics, family and relationships.

Harry Bosch is facing the end of the line. He's been put on the DROP - Deferred Retirement Option Plan - and given three years before his retirement is enforced. Seeing the end of the mission coming, he's anxious for cases. He doesn't have to wait long!

A most beautiful and captivating book, from paper cutter artist Rob Ryan. The perfect Christmas gift from my girlfriend.

Description: This lovely book is a magical, romantic and touching story of thoughts and dreams, loneliness and longing. The book is signed by Rob.Published by Hodder & Stoughton Dimensions:

An incredible story, so well told, both emotional and informative. I feel like this book has taught me so much about running. Highly recommended.

Born to Run: The Hidden Tribe, the Ultra-Runners, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen by Christopher McDougall [My parter recommends this book highly. so, I've added it to the 'to-read' list.

Really enjoyed this one. Loved the concept of a bounty on Bond as he travels across Europe on holiday, nice continuation from the last story.

Nobody Lives Forever (James Bond)

Another John Gardner 007 novel, really enjoyed this one.

A good read but lacked some of the detail I expected to find about training schedules and diet.

Can't swim, can't ride, can't run: my triathlon journey from common man to ironman by Andy Holgate. Can't wait to read it.
