I love this, because it really just plain looks like an onion, and those set sketches! It's burned - which could be a cool effect to possibly even apply to the set if you like - not just traveling through layers, but burning through them to try and find more underneath, as the events of peer's life typically are more burning bridges than crossing them peacefully
