Sunset, Lyell Canyon, Yosemite National Park

Coming down Donohue Pass into Yosemite, from the Ansel Adams Wilderness, at the end of a 45 mile romp, we camped high to avoid bugs and people. Perched on a cliff at 10,500 ft., the sunset was spectacular. It went on for a long time, then, for about 90 seconds, the lake and ponds reflected lavender. Farther in the distance and thousands of feet below; the meadows of Lyell Canyon and the Tuolumne River. As always, cheers! Steve
