The pure love, affection & tranquility we feel as a husband or wife is one of the biggest blessings from Allah upon humanity. Even our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) when in need of comfort, went to who, to his beloved wife Khadija (ra). Oh Allah, bless our #marriages. 💞
Many of us talk about #marriage life in a mocking or belittling way. When in fact being in marriage is a precious bond which brings so much blessings into the life. Yes there up and down, but that’s with everything in life. May Allah make us and grant us righteous spouses.
#Divorce in #Islam is generally not recommended for it breaks not just a family but a society. And so, for those who seek it without trying their best to resolve and work marriages out then this comes with a severe cost in the hereafter. May Allah mend broken marriages.
Allāh's Mercy In #Marriages Allāh (God Almighty) says: وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ "And of His signs is that He #created for you from yourselves #mates that you may find #tranquillity in them; and He placed between you #affection and #mercy. Indeed in that are #signs for a people who give #thought." [Qur’ān 30:21]
Your wife is a trust given to you by Allah. The way you treat her can either make or break your hereafter. Even our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said the best of us are those who are best to our wives. The same goes to the sisters in relation to how they treat their husbands. Be merciful. Be compassionate. Be forgiving. REFLECT | ACT | SHARE
