"North of the modern town centre in Old Hunstanton find the gorgeous banded cliffs are made of layers of red limestone with a white chalk layer on top. The cliffs – a perfect geology textbook illustration – are framed by a foreground of chalky sand and green, seaweed-covered rocks. With the setting sun lighting up the cliffs as it lowers across the Wash, this is the sort of place that landscape photographers get excited about." Slow Travel Norfolk; www.bradtguides.com
Wroxham, Norfolk Just over the bridge on the right hand side going into Wroxham there is a lovely fish and chip restaurant overlooking the water, a must for anyone passing by. The lemon meringue pie is amazing.
